Brixton Capital has acquired Marketplace Beaumont, a shopping center in Beaumont, a Riverside County community east of Los Angeles, CA. The 187,851-square-foot shopping center is situated on 51.77 acres at 1604, 1693 and 1642 E. Second St. Brixton Capital purchased the property from FJ Hanshaw Trust for an undisclosed price.
At the time of its sale, Marketplace Beaumont was 92 percent leased. The center is comprised of eight (8) buildings, including five (5) drive-thru pads. Tenants include ALDI, Petco, Ross, Best Buy, Bed Bath & Beyond, Taco Bell, Starbucks, and Bank of America, among others.
Brixton Capital intends to renovate Marketplace Beaumont with new paint, new lighting, and a resurfaced parking lot.
Gleb Lvovich and Daniel Tyner of JLL represented Brixton Capital, while FJ Hanshaw Trust represented itself in the transaction.
