Manni Malhotra advises the Brutten Global team on Financial and Tax matters. Mr. Malhotra brings an extensive track record in 1031 exchanges, tax planning and finance. He has served as the Managing Director of Finance & Tax at Westcore Properties and worked with President/CEO Don Ankeny on the company’s equity and financing strategies. He was previously controller for Shidler West, Inc., from 1995 to 2002. During this time, Mr. Malhotra worked closely with Westcore Chairman Marc Brutten (formerly president of Shidler West) to grow the company’s real estate portfolio to more than 11.3 million sq. ft. and the company’s asset value to $800 million.

In 2007, Mr. Malhotra was honored by the San Diego Business Journal as an award finalist for Chief Financial Officer of the Year. Mr. Malhotra is actively involved in numerous local and international charities. He is also a licensed CPA by the California Board of Accountancy and graduated with honors from John Moore’s University in Liverpool, England with a degree in accounting and finance. He also holds an MBA from University of Phoenix.
