Bob Phipps has joined commercial real estate investment firm, Brixton Capital, as its Managing Director, Capital Markets. In his new role, Phipps is responsible for arranging capital for the Brixton real estate platforms. He also leads client relations for the firms’ institutional investors and its high net worth and family office partners.

Phipps has extensive experience in investment strategy, capital markets, property acquisitions, and asset management. Phipps previously worked at SteelWave, LLC for more than 20 years. In this role, he had oversight of the asset management and transactions services groups for discretionary investment funds and joint ventures, totaling more than 100 assets and $8 billion in value. He also had previous stints with The Prometheus Company and Trammell Crow Company.

“Part of what makes Bob such a good rainmaker is his 360-degree knowledge of the real estate investment industry and his deep relations across the investor spectrum,” says Mark Selman, president of Brixton Capital. “He will be an important member of our team as we expand our investment activity and regional reach.”
