With products tested in conditions ranging from high altitude winter sleet to scorching dry desert conditions, the K2 Suncare Products resolved fundamental performance issues specific to outdoor sports. Products were available at specialty ski, snowboard and resort shops; outdoor and sporting goods retailers; and through the online store.

The company was divested in a private equity transaction.
