Commercial real estate investment firm Brixton Capital has welcomed David Lang as its new Vice President of Finance. An experienced finance leader, Lang brings an extensive background in real estate accounting and finance to his new position.

At Brixton Capital, Lang’s key responsibilities include managing debt financing, contributing to Brixton’s strategic plan, and overseeing the financial health of company projects. Additional duties include overseeing the finance group, developing complex financial models, communicating with investors, maintaining Brixton’s corporate track record, managing relationships with lenders, and conducting risk assessments on business initiatives.

“David is a well-rounded finance professional with the skills required to support our retail, multifamily, and land investments throughout the Western U.S.,” said Brixton Capital’s President, Mark Selman. “We’re pleased to have him on board.”

Prior to joining the Brixton Capital team, he served as Senior Vice President of Capstone Advisors where he worked for 17 years. There, he assembled an accounting, finance and human resource team that supported a large portfolio of operating properties, renovations, and ground-up developments. Lang also served as Vice President of Finance and Administration for On A Mission (OAM), LLC and worked on the finance and accounting teams at Equity Management, Inc., Vail Associates, and La Jolla Beach and Tennis Club.

Lang received his bachelor’s degree in Accountancy from Northern Arizona University. He also has a certificate in Real Estate Finance, Investments and Developments from the University of San Diego.
